Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that South Lane County Fire & Rescue will hold a joint public hearing of its Board of Directors and its Local Contract Review Board regarding adoption of Public Contracting Rules on the 20th day of June 2024, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at District Administrative Offices, 233 Harrison Avenue, Cottage Grove, Oregon. To attend the hearing virtually or for questions, contact 541-942-4493. The proposed Resolution will replace and update the District’s current Public Contracting Rules and exemptions.

The public hearing will be held for the purpose of taking comments on the District’s draft findings supporting the exemption of certain classes of special procurements and public improvement contracts from competitive bidding requirements. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per person. A virtual link can be requested by contacting the District office at the phone number above.
